Hey young peoples of God,
Our generation is faced with things that our parents, grandparents, and teachers were never faced with. The pressure is being put on by the media. Often the world sets our standards and not the Word of God. It is time to stand up for what we believe in! In Ephesians 6: 11-13 is says, Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. What would happen if young people like you and me started to change our generation by starting prayer groups at our schools and in our communities? What if we started putting on the full armor of God, taking a stand for what we believe in, and changed people’s lives? Prayer is so powerful, and you can change your generation into a Generation of Prayer.

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Matthew 18:19
Also, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about something and pray for it, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.
In 2006 three middle school girls started a prayer circle at their school in Oklahoma. They then decided to start an organization known as V.I.A. ( Very Important Aliens). The organization was to encourage kids to start prayer groups at their schools as well. In 2007 the co-founders of V.I.A. renamed their organization to Generation of Prayer, but still kept the same mission and purpose, that is to change to this generation in to a Generation of Prayer by starting prayer groups and Bible studies around the world. Leigha Briscoe, one of the co-founders, is now the president of the organization and " webGirl."
